Module 4 addresses safe mining practices, with a focus on the use of powered mobile equipment and operator responsibilities. You’ll review Part 32 (Excavating and Tunneling) and Part 36 (Mining) of the OHS Code. By the end, you'll be able to identify the three parts of the OHS Code that apply to mining activities and understand how to apply them in your role as a supervisor.
